Servings: 6-7 servings.
Prep Time: 5 min. + minimum 48 hours soaking time.
Serve time: 5 min.

 

Ingredients:

13 ounces or 1 Mickey whiskey/bourbon/rye
3 cinnamon sticks
1 tsp whole cloves
2 whole star anise
1/4 cup natural honey
1 tsp salt
To Serve:
1 lemon
1/4 cup ice per serving
Mint leaves for garnish
 

Preparation:

1.) Combine liquor, spices & honey in an air tight container. Cover and refrigerate for 48 hours, or if possible, a week (or as long as it takes you to finish the liquor). Shake the container once daily.
2.) Strain the spice liquor before serving.
3.) To serve, place 2 ounces of spiced liquor in a martini shaker, add squeeze of lemon and 1/4 cup ice. Shake, pour into glass, garnish with mint leaves and serve.
