This recipe builds upon the raw granola recipe. Please make raw granola first, then turn it into delicious breakfast bars with the following instructions:

1 cup raw honey or good quality maple syrup
1/2 cup natural nut butter of your choice
1/2 cup apple butter (an amazing clean ingredient and full of sweetness)

1. Gently heat all ingredients in medium sauce pan over medium heat. This just helps everything melt. Please don’t boil.
2. Remove from heat when nicely melted and uniform.
3. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
4. Mix well and pour over granola. You should have a dense batter.
5. Press into prepared* 9×13 baking pan. (*pan should be lightly coated with oil)
6. Bake for 20 minutes and begin to watch the edges. Don’t let them get too brown.
7. Remove from heat and let cool.
8. Cut into bars and wrap individually in parchment paper.

No Bake Bars:

1. Repeat all steps as above but skip the baking.
2. Instead place baking sheet in refrigerator and let harden for 3 hours.
3. Remove from fridge and cut into 24 bars.
4. Wrap and store in refrigerator.
