When was the last time you had a mind shift? A WTF moment? An “OMG! I get it now!” moment? They don’t happen every day unless you have been listening to the Evolution of Medicine Summit talks – 37 in total. There is no way not to have your mind completely turned around if you listened as I did.

Sometimes you can just listen and sometimes you can actively listen so your pen is moving fast and you keep hitting the pause button to get that incredible point down or you listen to chunks of information over and over again. Keeping up with the flood of amazing medical information presented for both lay and professional people was exciting and tiring – my brain was on fire. And I have loved every minute of it and would do it again given the chance.

Why? How does it make you feel when you hear that you, yourself can switch on and enhance the functionality of your 23,000 genes simply by how you think, what you think, what you say, what you eat, your sleep quality and so on? When I hear that I want to get up and do something about my health immediately. What do you do when you learn that doctors are responsible for prescribing some 99.9% of all narcotic prescriptions that then lead to narcotic addiction? Dr. Chopra nailed that one in his amazing talk.

I had a number of AH-HA moments myself but couldn’t stop thinking that in virtually every presentation the pillars of this Evolution of Medicine – the brave new world of medicine that is changing right before our eyes – three things remained constant. What were they? All of these are lifestyle changes including diet/nutrition, exercise/fitness and mindfulness. And not one speaker didn’t use the word “clean” in relation to nutrition. Amazing!!!!

I have long taught that we must manage blood sugar – which is why I wrote the Strike Sugar Challenge – we often need a challenge to get ourselves rallied to make change. Strike Sugar was a success because you believed that something in your lifestyle needed to change and you did it. The eBook is still there for you to access and undertake your own revolution today. Pre-diabetes is a critical pre-disease condition. Pre-diabetes is pre-death. One third of adults have pre-diabetes. Pre-diabetes is a major cause of heart attack and stroke.

If you could stop all of that and stop inflammation, reverse aging, halt disease process, improve energy, clear your skin and your mind, have better sex, why wouldn’t you? I have experienced all of these improvements in my life. That last one is on hold for the moment but I haven’t lost my sexuality!!

These talks make me think that the Eat Clean lifestyle I have developed is onto something. I know for myself, my own evolution into this field started with a personal transformation that served me so well it became my lifestyle, my career path and my passion. Listening to these speakers made me feel supported and further inspired to do even more. As a result this week I wrote a new program specifically for Women, Families and Children. This is due out by the end of the month and just in time because even the Evolution of Medicine acknowledges the power of families working together in the disease prevention and healing process. This is too powerful to ignore. Look for the new program out this month.

I want to go back and listen to all of the speakers again. You get more out of each talk the more you listen and I had a busy week so I didn’t get to listen to every talk. You know what? The talks are available in a recorded version through the Evolution of Medicine. Buying the series ensures you will have this life-changing information available at your fingertips forever. I have purchased mine. Have you got yours?

Well, it’s Day 5 of the Summit. More to listen to and I’ve got a killer workout planned because it’s about fitness not just being thin (Thank you #EvoMed).

Got to run.
Love and blessings for your personal health and wellness.
